Customer wanted a new apron around existing building due to new slab raising finished grade.

This job is at the same place as the last. Since we did an overlay and went right over the existing slab, it raised finished grade about 8 inches. The existing apron was also quite old and falling apart.

The hardest part of this job was knowing how much concrete to remove in order to keep the flattest slopes possible. At one end of the building there was an old catch basin and the other had a road to behind the shop. There was a strange raised pad directly on the side of the building that looked like it was for an R.V. We decided to cut into that pad some to give it a nice gradual slope a car could drive up onto and park. This hatchery has visitors fairly often and parking is a bit of an issue for them, so usable space was a big concern.

We were able to find a happy medium for everything. We are happy we got to do this job and proud of the product we left. We get to drive by it everyday.
